Angulus (0)

Established in Copenhagen in 1904, the brand Angulus has been creating shoes for Danish children for over a century.

In 1928 they turn the shoe industry upside down by developing a shoe in collaboration with doctors and physiotherapists. It has a round toe which provide children's feet space for free expression and natural muscle development.

The shape remains, and make the shoes perfect for little growing feet. This combined with beautiful designs and a superior quality of soles and leather, it is no wonder that the company has remained so popular for so long.

The nice fit and great foot-shaped forms secured in 2012 Angulus the prestigious British price "Junior Magazine Design Award", and the successful story continues.

The shoes are designed in Denmark and produced in Portugal ensuring the high quality standards our children deserve.

Lundby (0)

The story of Lundby doll’s house begins in 1945, when Axel and Grete Thomsen moved back to Sweden from Denmark. They settled down in a small neighbourhood named Lundby in the northern part of Gothenburg. Grete started designing and building a doll’s house and furniture for her niece.

These were so appreciated by the niece and her friends that Axel began to consider turning it into a business. Two years later Ferd Lundqvist & Co., (nowadays NK department store) placed the first order for no less than SEK 325. Grete and Axel spent SEK 320 of this money to buy new tools, so they could eventually introduce the first, homemade doll’s house collection. The first doll’s house factory opened the following year.

Lundby has continued to grow and flourish, always taking the lead in contemporary houses and furniture. This has always been the core of our business: the love for contemporary design and what it will look like through the eyes of a child when he or she creates a world of their own

Our doll’s houses are typical examples of modern dream homes – in miniature format: 1:18 scale. Our classic doll’s house, Småland, has been painstakingly revamped, while our architect-designed house, Stockholm, prioritises modern design and special details (for example, how does the idea of a pull-out pool and a wonderful patio grab you?).

All of our houses are based on the same fundamental belief – that the urge to play lies in the details. And this conviction obviously applies to the interior design, fixtures and furniture too. For instance: we were the first in the world to install electric lighting in our doll’s houses.
